1. General

These Terms of Service govern the use of the website https://finwatchstraps.com and all purchases made through it.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website.

2. Products & Handcrafted Nature

FinWatchStraps specializes in handcrafted watch straps made in Finland, produced either in small batches or made to order according to customer specifications.

Due to the use of natural materials and manual production:

variations in color, grain, texture, thickness, and finish are inherent characteristics
such variations do not constitute defects

Product images are provided for reference only.

3. Custom Orders & Production

Most products offered by FinWatchStraps are made to order.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that:

all specifications (lug width, length, taper, materials, stitching, buckle) are correct
the product is manufactured specifically for the customer
production begins within 24 hours after order confirmation, so we appreciate you will check carefully order details before placing an order and contact us in advance if needed.

Once production of tailor-made watch strap has started, the order cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.

4. Final Sale of Custom Products

In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Accordingly:

all made-to-order and custom products are final sale
no returns, exchanges, or refunds are accepted for such products unless the item is defective

5. Ready-to-Ship Items

Ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

the item is unused and unworn
the item is returned in original condition and packaging

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

6. Defects & Remedies

If a product is defective, the customer must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence.

At our discretion, we may offer:

repair
replacement
partial or full refund

Any adjustment or modification is provided as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an obligation to refund or replace.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from Finland.

FinWatchStraps is not responsible for:

delays caused by shipping carriers
customs inspections or clearance procedures
force majeure events

Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer from outside EU.

8. Liability Limitation

FinWatchStraps shall not be liable for:

improper installation or misuse of products
damage to watches or other equipment
indirect or consequential damages
FinWatchStraps liability is limited to a watch strap cost

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights where applicable.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, designs, and logos, is the intellectual property of FinWatchStraps and may not be used without prior written permission or indicating the authorship of a brand.
